Manage and delete Google data
Google sign-in identifies your account. Connecting Gmail and Calendar is a separate choice that gives Cuelight access to those features. You can use the inbox and Calendar with Gmail AI features turned off.
Choose whether Gmail is used by AI
Open your portal settings, choose Email, and find your Gmail account. Gmail AI features start off. Read the disclosure before enabling automatic booking and travel imports and assistant Gmail lookups. Relevant message text, sender, subject and PDF attachments can be sent to Anthropic for reviewable import drafts. Requested assistant lookups can share Gmail snippets and activity with Anthropic or a connected AI client you authorize.
Turn the setting off to stop new automatic imports and new Gmail lookups by AI tools. If an import is finishing, wait and retry when prompted. Previously included conversation content remains in the conversation and can be used when you continue it. Turning the setting off does not erase earlier transfers, imported drafts or accepted records. It does not affect normal inbox actions, sending or Calendar sync.
Reauthorizing the same mailbox keeps your choice. Connecting a different mailbox clears it. Enabling Gmail AI features applies to newly synced mail; previously skipped messages are not automatically replayed.
Disconnect Gmail and Calendar
In Email settings, choose Disconnect on your Gmail account and review the confirmation. Disconnect removes the connected account, its indexed mail and email drafts, and linked flight and lodging import drafts, including their stored source text. It does not move or delete messages in your Google mailbox. Calendar cleanup must finish before local disconnect completes. If an error appears, the account remains visible so you can retry.
If Google revocation cannot be confirmed, also visit Google Account connections and remove Cuelight's access. Removing Google access stops future authorized access; it does not remove copies already held by Cuelight. Complete local disconnect or contact us if cleanup cannot finish.
Remove information that remains
- Accepted flights, lodging and booking records remain in your workspace. Use their normal delete controls, or ask your workspace administrator for help.
- Platform correspondence, existing assistant conversations and imports from uploaded or forwarded files are managed separately. Contact us to request removal of retained conversation content. Copies returned to an external AI client are subject to that client's controls.
- Older Gmail travel imports may not have enough information to identify their source account. Contact us to locate and remove any such content; disconnect cannot safely assume which account owns it.
Gmail thread bodies, labels and signatures are fetched as needed without persistent caching in the updated integration. Cached copies created before this update expire within ten minutes. Disconnect does not promise immediate removal from processor systems or backups. Contact us about a broader deletion request or retained copies.
Get help with deletion
Email legal@cuelight.com with your workspace, connected email address and the types of data you want removed. Do not send passwords, access tokens or private message contents. We may need to verify your authority before removing workspace records.
