A ticket without an assigned seat: first-come, first-served entry to a standing-room area or open-seating section. GA is the dominant format at clubs, theaters with pit floors, and most festivals. Higher-energy than reserved seating, easier to scale (no seat-map management), and slightly cheaper per ticket. Mixing GA floor with reserved upper tiers is a common scaling pattern at theaters. GA tickets carry their own complications: line management, capacity counts, ADA accommodations.
