Careers

Last updated October 3, 2026

Cuelight is small and early. Right now there's a handful of us building toward one promise: The OS for Music. Every show passes through four companies: the talent buyer, the agency, the artist manager and the tour manager. Each runs its own software, so every handoff between them is an email someone types again. We're building the one system the whole show moves on.

We don't have a long list of open roles on this page. When we do, they'll show up here. In the meantime, if what we're building sounds like the right problem for you, we'd love to hear from you.

What we look for

  • Operator instincts. Bias for shipping. Comfortable owning a problem end-to-end without a PM, a designer, and three meetings to authorize a decision.
  • Curiosity about the industry. You don't have to come from live music or booking, but you should genuinely want to learn how a $40K offer becomes a confirmed show that nets $12K. The product is the workflow.
  • Quality + speed, not one or the other. We pair fast iteration with strong typing, real tests where they matter, and reviewable diffs. No heroic cowboying; no precious deliberation either.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. You'll work on things that don't have a clear answer yet. The answer becomes clear by building.

How we work

  • Remote-friendly with regular Los Angeles overlap. Hours flexible when they need to be; same-timezone async otherwise.
  • Pair with real customers from day one. Every engineer talks to talent buyers, agents, managers and tour managers; every designer sits in on bookings. The feedback loop is short on purpose.
  • Equity for early hires. Cash competitive with the stage; meaningful equity for the people who help us get to scale.

Reach out

Email careers@cuelight.com with a line or two about what you're working on now and what you'd want to build here. Resumes welcome but not required: code, writing, a product you shipped, or a thoughtful note all work.

We read every email. Response time varies with the chaos of the week, but we'll always get back to you.
