Cuelight Advancing
The offer, the venue's house answers and the tour's standing answers fill each show's advance before anyone types. The venue and the tour manager answer only what's left, Cuelight checks the rider against the room, and the agent and manager can see where it stands.
Tour manager? Get started
Every confirmed show gets an advance on one board. Each row shows its owner, who answers the artist's side, how far each side has got, the next deadline and anything new since you last looked. The cards above count what waits on the artist's side, what waits on you, what changed and what is overdue.
Who works the advance
How an advance moves
01 · Start
The venue answers what's true of the room once, in its Advance Pack. The tour manager answers what's true of the artist once, as standing answers. The offer adds the set times and terms. Each new advance starts with all of it.
02 · Send
The venue sends the advance to the tour's company on Cuelight, and each side answers only its own questions. A tour manager can invite a venue that isn't on Cuelight yet, and the venue fills its half with no account.
03 · Check
The conflict check holds the rider against the venue's specs and lists what to sort out, with a suggested fix. The Redliner marks an artist's rider against your house rules before anyone has to read it line by line.
04 · Chase
When the other side owes answers, Nudge drafts the email and sends it, from your own Gmail or Outlook once you connect it. The agent and the artist manager can see what's open on every show and nudge too.
05 · Track
The Advancing board lists every upcoming show with who owns it, how far each side has got, and the next deadline. Emails about a show file to its own address, and a morning email says what changed.
06 · Show day
The venue's times land in the tour manager's day sheet, its guest allotments cap the guest list, and the whole advance downloads as a PDF packet or a calendar file.
